The Commission held a meeting to review two main agenda items. The first item was the final plat approval for the Lucky Estate subdivision, which was recommended for approval to the village board. The second item was a public hearing regarding a zoning variation request for a sideloading driveway at 41 West Binmar Avenue. The petitioner sought a width variance to allow for a 35-foot wide driveway, citing navigation difficulties into the garage, though the driveway had already been constructed without a permit in violation of village code. The commission discussed the request and staff concerns regarding the deviation from standard ordinance requirements.
