This document outlines Colorado Independent School District's plan to meet statutory teacher certification requirements by the 2029-2030 school year. The strategic plan focuses on systematically reducing the number of uncertified teachers in core subjects like Reading/ELA, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Key strategies include offering accelerated certification programs, mentorship, and partnerships with Educator Preparation Programs (EPP) to build a robust pipeline of certified educators. The plan details yearly goals and specific support mechanisms for uncertified teachers, with the ultimate objective of achieving 100% certified teachers across all foundation curriculum courses by the 2029-2030 school year.
