The DuPuis Management Area's General Management Plan outlines a 10-year strategy from 2026 to 2036. The plan focuses on seven key goals: managing natural communities and modified habitats to protect and enhance floral and faunal resources, maintaining and restoring listed species populations and habitats, and minimizing the negative impacts of invasive plant and animal species. It also aims to protect and enhance the hydrological and ecological functions of wetland communities, provide nature-based public use opportunities, maintain and improve facilities and infrastructure, and protect existing cultural resources. This comprehensive approach seeks to ensure the area's ecological health, sustainable public use, and resource protection.
