Design and engineering: the contractor must design and engineer the complete facility and all interfaces among ballistic, structural, civil, electrical, mechanical, safety, and training systems. The contractor must: Prepare a Design Basis Report identifying assumptions, governing criteria, threat basis, firing geometry, containment concept, and system interfaces. Develop site/civil, architectural, structural, ballistic, mechanical, electrical, fire/life-safety, and specialty training drawings. Provide structural calculations, anchorage calculations, ballistic design documentation or test evidence, equipment data, and product/material submittals. Submit progress design packages at Government-defined milestones, resolve comments, and maintain
configuration control. Produce final approved-for-construction drawings, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation
plans sealed by appropriately licensed design professionals where required. See attached file.
